Terrestrial Environment Baseline Characterization

Boreal conducted pre-construction terrestrial monitoring that included:

• Terrestrial vegetation surveys to develop a forest inventory;
• Wetland delineations to identify the size and boundaries of wetlands contained within the project area;
• Wetland functional assessments to determine the ecological value of wetlands within the project area;
• Acoustic bat detection surveys to monitor for the presence of resident and migratory bats in study area.
